Un po' di storia

The Trulli are ancient constructions made of stone with the characteristic shape of a quadrilateral and conical roof, the oldest of which there are traces are found in Murgia and date back to the sixteenth century. In the past when a Trullo needed to be renovated, it was preferred to tear it down, and with the same material was built a new Trullo. The term that was used to define these dry constructions was casedda which means small house. The renovation of a Trullo and especially the techniques used can vary depending on whether it is a modern or old Trullo and the existing architectural constraints.
